Hi Natalie, just watched this video and you gave me tears. Happy tears. I live here in Vista and have an acre. Everyday I struggle to get out in my garden. But I looked up my zone and I'm 10a! OMG!! There is no reason why I can't grow everyday...365 days! You touched my heart. I'm going to take your sweet words to heart and just grow. Even with the hundreds of gophers, ants, spiders and mice eating my baby beet tops. Perhaps one day you'll come over and we'll sit in my forest and have a cup of tea! My chickens 🐓 love visitors! Keep going, I love what you are doing and am so inspired each time I watch one of your videos. I saw you on Roots and Refuge and fell in love with you and Jess. I learn so much from both of you. My husband has no interest in my garden either, but he is always amazed at how great it turns out! We might not be on the same page with love of plants, but we both dream and plan on buying our own property within the next couple of years, and having a small farm! We have our chickens, garden, and will one day have a dairy goat (and a friend goat for her)! I am so greatful for what i have, and am excited for what our future holds!
