•The historic old town of Moers was renovated between the mid-1960s and the late 1980s. Its old streets with lovingly renovated and restored houses invite you to stroll. Some of the houses were rebuilt to the old scale. Market squares and cozy corners invite you to linger. The old town, which was designed as a pedestrian zone during the city center renovation, is a popular shopping area. This is not least due to the cozy environment and the high-quality range of goods offered by the retail stores located there.

•The Moers Evangelical City Church in the city center of Moers in the Wesel district of North Rhine-Westphalia is a brick building from the 15th century. The parish belongs to the Moers parish of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland.

•Moers Castle was originally a ring castle complex (13th/15th century). This type of building from the High Middle Ages is often found in the Rhineland. The castle was the center of what was then the County of Moers and also gave its name to the Counts of Moers family. The castle settlement was made a city around 1300 by King Abrecht. The former moated castle is located in the immediate vicinity of the historic old town and at the same time at the entrance to the beautifully landscaped castle park.

•The Peschkenhaus dates back to the 15th century and is the oldest surviving town house in the Lower Rhine town of Moers. Today's gallery is a listed building and is located on Neumarkt in the city center.
