Southampton's Healthy Early Years Award

Southampton’s Healthy Early Years Award helps childminders, child care centre staff and families to make healthier choices. The scheme -- originally developed in 2009 and redesigned in 2017--makes teaching and learning healthier behaviour more accessible and practical for early years.

There are six stand-alone awards at three progressive levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold in the categories of Healthy Eating, Healthy Mouth and Physical Activity. All awards are valid for three years and all progression steps must be taken within the 3 year period.
