Mike Dupke - W.A.S.P.- The Real Me -- 'Live Version' Drums

The drumming on this video is not meant to be a recreation of the original "Headless Children" track, played by the mighty Frankie Banali, but rather the live version played in concert during my time in the band. You'll hear differences such as crashes on the "&" of 1, 3, and 4 counts going into verses and choruses to match the guitars, less 8th note-oriented fills, and a later start to the big double-kick run at the end. This song was a challenge and a blast to play, and always went over great during a live show.

Almost perfect performance of the drum part. I think Frankie Banali couldn't have done better at home. Especially working with hits. Accept my admiration, as from a former drummer. It's a pity that there are so few likes.

What a performance, Frankie Banali would be proud. Congratulations Mike. Not an easy song to drum, but i guess it’s pure fun. I don’t think Steve Riley could have been able to play this way. Do you agree Steve’s drumming was much more basic?

You have great speed going on there bro, just another of many reasons why you're in my top 5 favorite drummers.

Awesome play Mr. Dupke! I would seriously shit my pants if you played Killahead from K.F.D. next! It would be such a treat for the hardcore fans!
