I have done acting, writing, sculpting, side gigs, sell for fun, dabble and experiment in so many art forms and love to share my experience through videos. Let's be clear - you use the word 'make' in place of the more correct word 'gross'. The burning question is how much of what you 'make' do you actually get to 'keep'?

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

I have a FT job in STEM. That allows me to run several sides jobs, that bring in way more than my regular job. I have a 5 year plan to get out of the rat race and rely on my side jobs. I pet/house sit, I make custom German clothing (I live in a German town in the US and we have a huge festival here, so I make specialized clothing for the season) and I do photography- of all kinds- product, people, pets, and my own love of outdoors. I have also made a little money with freelance writing and writing curriculum, related to aerospace.
