5:45 But How would you even trade SPX? I don't think they are even tradeable. I thought you can either trade the futures (ES) or ETF (SPY) to track SPX

Thanks a lot for all the info, I have a question. I work a full time and I do trading like a full time as well. Do I need to open up LLC for the 1256 or is this just a form I can file as an individual?
Thanks in an advance.

Does one have to report the gain/loss on each transaction involving Section 1256 option contracts on the tax form or can I do so on an aggregate basis?

What if I only have a loss to report. Do I still use 60/40?

Say my brokerage account goes up 40k over 9 months but then I go on a losing streak for the last three months and lose 15k of that 40. Do I pay taxes on all 40k or just the remaining 25k? All section 1256 products.

SPX, RUT, NDX, IWM and what else is under 1256? Where can we find a complete list?
