This video - well, more of a vlog really, - is about the difference between "I am waiting" (present progressive) and "I have been waiting" (present perfect progressive).

The difference is really quite simple: "I am waiting" is around now, and temporary; "I have been waiting" is about joining the past to the present in one way or another.

This video is available with captions, translation in your language (beta) and in high definition.

She has been staying with Jane for a week. Can we say this sentence on Friday or only on Sunday (as week ends on Sunday only).

Hello. I have a question. Could you answer for me please.

Ann’s clothes are covered in paint. She…painting the ceiling.

A. is painting
B. has been painting

The correct answer is B. But can I choose A?
I think it’s also correct and we can choose both. What are the differences? Could you explain for me please?

Hello Nick,
We do use do/es or did before a verb to emphasize this action
I DO know her.
But can we use do/es or did before to be?
She is my friend.
She does be my friend.
Thanks in advance dear Nick.

Dear Sir, I have a question about the exercise in the last minutes.

Sentence 2: Is it right to say “ They are living in London for five years?”

Jesus, the sinless Son of God, died for our sins. He carried the punishment we deserved when He died on the cross. We all have sinned that is why we can’t receive forgiveness by our own good works. we need a Savior: Jesus. when you believe you’ll receive forgiveness (Romans 3:22-27). He was resurrected on the 3rd day and went back to the Father. Let Him transform you. He loves you toooo!!!

thank you for your videos and the cute drawings!!!
