Hey friends, ‘The Almanack of Naval Ravikant’ is one of the best books I’ve ever read about financial freedom. So I thought I’d make a video to summarise my key takeaways. Enjoy! xx

3 things that worked for me:

1. I blocked out all distractions.
2. I read books on Nixorus.
3. I stayed consistent no matter what.

Starting with just 55k two months ago and reaching 290k today feels incredible. Sophie Rogerz, your guidance and insights have been instrumental in this journey, and I’m deeply thankful for your support and knowledge.”

Reading really does open doors to success. One book that made a huge difference for me is Lost Scrolls of Jewish Wealth. It’s not just about reading—it’s about reading the right things.

For me it is "Prosperity Unleashed: Mastering Path To Freedom" at Mind-bloomery. I love how author ends with the point that everything is about our mindset, and that true currencies are free time and joy. Money is just the tool to amplify those. And the beginning is really intense, talking about today's consumerism and how the race to wear better clothes, to have better accessories, etc., is pointless. Because if you chase those things just to show off with others, nobody will notice it because everyone is in that race. Pretty much race with no finish line.

My dad used to clown on me for wanting to make games. He told me I’d just be a “code monkey sitting at a desk”… at 35, I finally started diving into learning coding and it’s been the most engaging career-year so far. I’m so excited to keep on this path and wish I’d just listened to myself sooner on this. It’s brought so many fun automations to how my company functions, as well as making my day-to-day life feel genuinely productive and meaningful

Building wealth requires disciplined habits, such as consistently setting aside funds for reliable investments. Effective financial management is a critical topic that many avoid, often to their detriment down the line. Earning money is one thing—preserving and growing it is another.

Great summary, Ali! ‘The Almanack of Naval Ravikant’ is such a game-changer. The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel is another great read—it offers incredible insights into how our mindset shapes financial decisions. Keep up the amazing work!

I’m glad that you posted this video. In terms of your general metrics, I could not say how successful it is. But I personally find value in your book review videos. Even if it’s very business, heavy, I still find it inspiring, and can see ways of improving my own life.

Glad you decided to make the video. Don't need actionable steps for it be valuable. My life changed for the better when I stopped pursuing what others chased for money and focused on what interested me. This principle applies to relationships too not only work and money. What you focus on compounds — the good and the bad. Our time and energy are finite resources but I can always make more money as long as I have time. Focusing on that which matters most to me is a more effective use of the time and energy that I have available because I'm more effective, efficient, and knowledgable, which gives me leverage. The alternative of following what others were chasing for money just made me miserable feeling like I was useless and lacked purpose. I live a much happier more intentional life setting my own direction even if it doesn't look or sound rich. Love from Australia ❤

Thank you so much for this video! I’m currently finishing “the millionaire fastlane” after your recommendation and it’s massively shifted my perspective on money and wealth! And this book adds to it, especially the idea of specific knowledge. Next on my list is the book you wrote :)
