This ost is amazing, whenever I have a shit day and feel weak, I put this on and I remember Kazuma Kiryu and I feel his strength.

I think the epicness of this song fits the side quest. The side quest is needed for Kiryu to unlock his signature fighting style, the Dragon of Dojima style. This song sounds like a young, ambitious dragon trying to rise to the top, discovering himself and achieving power. Also the finance minigame thing foreshadows how kiryu act on following installments, like how kiryu can manage a cabaret without experiences in 2. Sorry for my bad english.

You're walking home, listening to music, you see some thugs in an alleyway trying to mug you, this song comes on, and suddenly you see nothing and you only hear the music play, the moment the song ends, you can see again, and wondering what happened as they seemed to be laid out and random broken moped and bike parts everywhere.
