storage wars and those type of shows ruined it for us buyers that was in this game before they aired. back in the good ol' days you only had only a few people, it was considered busy if you had 20 bidders show up and the units went cheap. they opened the door and you had plenty of time as a group to look at the stuff before bidding started.

then these shows aired. Next thing you know it is overcrowded. so many people showed up what they did was lined you up in a single file and you slowly walked past the units giving you what 10 seconds to look, it got crazy. i walked the parking lot at the one and counted 4 different states represented there. units that should bring $500 the most were bring over $3, 000. i got out of it for a while but now it is calming back down as people realize it is more involved than what tv showed.

Talk about how much you will have in trucks and trailers....and tools, handcarts/ blankets/ warehouse to rent. Renting dumpsters for tons....and more tons of garbage to landfill. How much is waste disposal these days?
