this movie was one of the most well done movies i have EVER seen. i'm not sure why it didn't get more credit, why it wasn't bigger, but i can't think of a single thing wrong with it. it is one of the most emotionally challenging films you can watch, and that's not because of shock value. it's because the actors make sure you know that this is real. these emotions are real. the way this family interacts with each other is so realistic, and annie did such a fantastic job as a young actress. when she cried, she made you feel her pain. what an excellent film that i think should be shown in school to the younger generations for years. one of my favourite things about this movie is that it didn't gift us with a happy ending. it gifted us reality, a warm exchange between him and his student ended this terrifying movie on the vague, but clear note that he is grooming his next victim. that's the true gospel, 11/10 for this film.

This movie is really touching. I think it deserves more attention, as this issue is more prevalent than we may think. Every teen who is on social media should watch this. It really makes you think about strong grooming is and that it can happen to anyone. The girl wasn't necessarily "stupid", she was groomed into trusting him. Make sure you watch the movie all the way until when the credits are rolling, because there is an extra "scene" in there that I think really makes the whole movie. It teaches you that the predator can be ANYONE. 10/10, would recommend!

I'm a young girl and I talked to strangers online before until I saw this movie 🎬 and it taught me a great lesson.

This shows that rape doesn't affect only the victim, but the entire family.
Is a strong movie. In more occasions than one, when i had contact with teens (Siblings of friends) i always suggest them this movie to watch.
Is a sad reality, and those sick bastards are everywhere. Even among our family, people we wouldnt believe be capable of such things.

Great movie, great plot, fantastic acting and the ending is super heavy just the way it should be for a movie like this. It just leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth. And that's reality. No happy endings

Dude, I watched this movie before I was a father and I'm watching it again after I'm a father. Never miss an opportunity to talk to your children. Not for one second of one minute of any day. One day they won't need you anymore, and they will be gone, and they will be living their own lives, and every single imperfection is due to poor parenting. And I know that I'm going to get some flack for saying this, but this movie was part of why I was so involved with my child's life, and I'm so happy to see my child thrive now. That they know they have a father that they can turn to no matter what, and I will always be there. I never gambled once with their safety, I never once turned my eye away, I encourage them to go off on their own and be the best, and I'm so proud of my children, but this is basically a movie that's letting you know what happens if you're on an uninvolved parent.

There's a book called, "Want To Go Private?" and I think everyone should read it...the message is the same and the plot is so similar to this movie

For all of those who didn't understand the plot: | SPOILERS| |Tw: rape mention| The girl received a laptop for her birthday, she is discovering social networks and internet "friends". She starts talking to a guy, Charlie, who claims to be 16. They get close and he asks to meet her. When they meet, it turns out he was a 40 year-old man. She was hesitsting but she accepted to follow him because he is using the insecurities of teenage girls to manipulate her. He took her to an appartment or a hotel idk, but at that point, she didn't dare to do anything because she was SCARED and MANIPULATED (for those who think she is "dumb" or a "whore") and to make it short, he raped her, and was hiding a camera that filmed it. Afterwards, her parents found out, but there were pics of her online and people made fun of her. Her father wanted to kill the guy, and obviously police got involved and showed the parents the messages that were exchanged between their daughter and the rapist, and how she got manipulated. |Major Spoilers for those who are just curious to know how the movie ends| she tries to commit suicide but is saved by her father just in time, and one last sequence at the end shows the rapist who didn't get caught, had his own family and apparently was ready to have a new victim. Voilà.

i watched this with my mom today and just started sobbing because annie really reminded me of myself. the denial, the outbreaks, the bullying, even the attempt she tried. i wish i could've received the same support she had, but even after coming out to my mom about everything that happened she didn't really do anything. it was triggering, but still a good movie overall. i love it sm and it just shows how REAL it is

I grew up around a girl that was around 14-15 Got Pregnant by a Late 30 Something year old Man and Nothing was Done. No Police, No Prison Sentence, No Nothing. She even moved in with Him, Didn't go to School, She was Rebellious and Would Not Listen. It didn't work out Obviously but I was just Weirded out by The Authorities Not stepping in. I thought that was their Job, To "Protect" and Serve.

The ending is perfect in 'this film. It's a REAL ending. It shows you how life truly is. And this sick fuck can literally be anyone! They can be your teacher, your best friend, the friendly neighbor! Anyone! Annie's character is very well acted as well. That's how some people feel sometimes. They get brain washed and feel the need to protect the sick fuck. They feel like they weren't even rapped but once they come to their senses it kicks in. Very great film! I appreciate it. A lot of time and research went into it, I can tell :)

The end of this movie will stay with me forever, when he stares right at the camera and gets to keep living his life.

From what I have seen so far I think the movie is great for young kids (teenagers) that make their friends on the internet nowadays and no longer on the playing ground like I used to do back then... It should be a warning of what COULD happen for those that meet recklessly with strangers. Oh, and of course the movie is great for parents too that let their kids surf on the internet anyhow as well. Will search for the full movie
