This is always about anticipating the possibility before it happens and making a decision BEFORE you get to the lights and before the lights change.

If you suddenly stop on an amber, that'd be dangerous. So best to keep going.

Ive got a bit of tape on both A pillars, if the lights change and those tapemarks are beyond the line i keep going, otherwise break. Best thing i ever did 2bits of white tape

On my test I accelerated though a amber light, me and the examiner had a good laugh about it after the test. Was one of the 2 minors I got 😅. Got one for that and one for not knowing the question at the start of the test.
