I remember my dad waking me up one day and said lets go for a ride. I living on the south side of Chicago. My dad pulled up to this house. It was one of my favorite unexpected moments my dad did that I never asked for.

If I had money I would pay another 5 mill to make it look EXACTLY like in the movie! That style is so cool, iconic and irreplaceble!

I love Home Alone! My family snuggles up and watches it a few times every Christmas season. Best movie ever!

For those wondering they never shot home alone inside that house, only the exterior shots. They actually filmed the inside of the house on a set in a highschool gym I believe.

You just have to deal with strangers from all over the world, showing up and taking pictures in front of your home. It's a beautiful house, but I would never feel safe there.

Beautiful home. It is one of our FAVORITE movies to watch during the holidays or actually whenever it is on TV 📺. I would love to live in that home. Amazing home❤

My daughter lives close by to that home in Evanston! We always drive by when back in town. The house is beautiful from the outside!!!

This house was the inspiration for the house (smaller version) that we built in 1994. I still love the color palate and wallpaper from Home Alone.
