As a German, I'm so f*cking fed up with this sh*t!
I don't feel safe in my own country anymore.
In summer, I don't dare go swimming at the lake anymore, because it's overrun by certain folks. As a single woman, you immediately get attention you don't want. And public swimming baths aren't safer anymore, either. That's even been in the news several times in the past years, too.
If I have to run errands in the city center, or use public transportation and trains, I don't feel safe anymore. You could get stabbed. Keeps happeneing.
Christmas markets haven't felt or *been* safe anymore for several years now. This thing has happened before as well, in Berlin for example.
How incompetent can this government be?! This is a huge shame!! It's beyond comprehension, why the politicians don't *act* - except for acting surprised when people here start voting for a far right party. Which can't be the answer, either. But this certainly also can't keep being tolerated!
If I could afford it, I'd leave my own country.
I feel sorry for the people who were harmed, and for the families of those who lost loved ones!
