I was fortunate to be in the studio when the original version of this song by Shirley Ellis and produced by Lincoln Chase was made. That experience was awesome and has lasted these many years with me. I have witnessed many other coverings of the original and have yet to see or hear the original "mistake" of the drums in the bridge that was kept in the final cut. I am happy to see that such a profound artist as Roger has chosen to cover this classic song.

My sister & I used to play "patty cake" clapping to this song when we were little girls!! SO GREAT to hear it recorded. Millions of little girls all over the world, and Big girls lite up when we hear this song! NO in my 60's, I found this video and I am instantly a little girl again. I sent it to my sister who just got out of cancer surgery to give her a smile! It worked! Thanks Roger!!!
