Near Kendwa rocks stay in a boutique hotel called Lazy beach hotel. Not a luxurious place but it's right on the beach and they have friendly rates for accommodation. It's true food is expensive and not that great in all restaurants in Kendwa, even in the kendwa rocks restaurant itself.

How DOES the diving compare to SE asia??? Do you still think mafia/ pemba/ zanzibar is worth it for a scuba-oriented trip?
