Webinar: IB Math Topic 5 — Calculus

“Calculus” is Topic 5 in both of the IB math courses, “Applications and Interpretation” and “Analysis and Approaches.” This webinar focuses on the Topic 5 activities on the Texas Instruments website, like the new “Bounded Areas” activity, how they align to the IB curriculum, and how you can leverage either TI-84 Plus CE or TI-Nspire CX II graphing calculators in your classroom.

This webinar:
• Pinpoints the Topic 5 struggles from the exam, and how to improve on those topics
• Discusses how Topic 5 was used on the Math Exploration, and how to improve on them
• Explores one Topic 5 activity (or two, if time permits) showing both graphing calculator platforms
