In this third lesson on the Position of Adverbs, we will study the end position. We all regularly come across sentences wherein we get confused whether to put the adverb in the middle or at the end. The confusion increases further when there are multiple adverbs. Therefore, it becomes imperative that we study the position of adverbs in detail to frame sentences correctly by putting adverbs in right place. This lesson has specially been made keeping in mind the need to master the end position of adverbs.
The placement of adverbs can be tricky as most kinds of adverbs can go in all three positions, i.e. front, middle & end. Due to variations, it’s obvious to have doubts and dilemmas with regard to the right position. This lesson aims at making you aware of the rules related to the three position of adverbs and as well as the modern usages. I have tried to keep the lesson as simple as possible. Adverbs are one of the most important parts of speech in grammar. Without them we may not be able to tell when, where, how, how much, how long, or how often some action or event happened/has happened/will happen.
