They are so young and filled with such energy . Their voices fresh an young just spilling over with joy to their Lord. Love it. I don't remember watching annual Dove Awards on our TV. We had 4 grown kids and a couple little new grandsons in 87 and 88. This was 86. Sure missed beautiful concert each year by our small town not showing them on TV. Thank you for posting. We went to a small but powerful country Church from 73 to late 90's. We had traveling gospel groups that came for revival week that were all on Gaithers Gospel shows. Even now I see them all and they have passed on. We had a large tent revival every night for a week a couple times each summer.. Different group each night. Then we enlarged the church. Put up a fancy Morton building and filled it with a group coming for the night long pot luck, gospel music and time to meet and greet. So lucky to have met nearly all the people who were in groups then and are also on Gaither reruns now. 🕊🎶🙏🎶

This is awesome, to see my top favorite christian artists in one stage was great. This was the golden age of CCM. I wonder why Scott Wesley Browns name was not on the title.

Yes, in the beginning there was Bill Gaither and he decided who made it in the Gospel Music Industry or not. These were his original big stars at the time. Back in the day if you wanted to be a professional Christian singer, you went and sang with Bill Gaither first. He held all the keys to music publishers, concert promoters, producers and record deals.
