It was awesome to hear the engine catch and come to life. The more it was run the smoother and tighter it sounded. I'm no expert but to my ears that sounded great!

Nice condition tank for sale. 1944 model, classic paint. Owned by elderly woman who only drove it to church on Sunday.

My grandfather called this beast home in the 40s. Didn't quite make it to Berlin, got badly wounded in Oder offensive, but came home alive for which I am grateful as it ultimately lead to my existence.

I love how one of the world's most crudely built tank is able to last from the 2nd ww to this day

After all of those years the smoke generator still seems to be working perfectly

It’s beautiful, almost surreal, to see this piece of machinery from almost a century ago roar back to life and move around on its own power.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but that thick white smoke at the beginning indicates that the engine was coated in protective oil before going into storage. That could explain why the engine is such pristine condition after all these decades.

Great to hear that T34/85 start up and see it move under it's own power! Very good condition also!

Warms my heart watching this. And even in my living room, I held my breath so I didn't breathe the smoke.

I can just imagine some sweet old babushka in the old country saying “Yes, tank is mine. Great commuter.”

And yes, the longer it runs, the better it sounds! All those old moving parts getting re-acquainted after all those years.

Amazing beast. I see it’s been looked after, but still it’s in remarkable shape. A piece of history.

Звук вызывает трепет и уважение! Так же как и люди, которые его завели!

Amazing to see this old T-34(85) up and running after 70 years, I wish I could have found this beast.

They were simple to produce and easy to operate and repair. Good tanks.

The fuel bill may agitate you but the carbon monoxide will gently calm you down again.
