P&O Venture. INSANE WEATHER rough seas Storm Ciara Feb 2020

Just come back from a month's cruise. Hurricane going out and a storm later. I loved every minute of it.

I’d be sat at the muster point with a life jacket ready to go.

I was on the DFDS ferry to Newcastle during this storm. It’s quite a small ship so bounced around a lot even though the worst of the storm was the day before. I was fine but a lot of people were not. The ship was very quiet till next morning when I realised how many were actually on board as breakfast was very busy. We diverted along the English coast so I was treated to a loverly view of the Yorkshire coastline not normally seen.

Had 5 story high waves crossing the Drake Passage coming back from Antarctica in 2006. Fantastic 👍👍👍

My god we just got of the ventura, feeling it move in less seas, bet it was pitching real bad, sooner be on Qm2 in those seas, was that Deck 5

On my last cruise, a no name storm hit, l slid down the deck, a broken little toe resulted. 1983

I wanted so badly to experience waves like this in my cruise. I did get to experience a fairly strong storm but never got to see waves like this :(

I was there but I was on deck 4 in a window cabin and I watched it and it was fun I was laughing at it
