Well this is tragic, First and foremost was this an actual pit bull or was it a Dogo Argentino. The news has a way of reporting dog attacks as pittbulls when such a breed does not exist, they are technically referred to as "Terrior" breeds. Mislabeling a dog paints a bad picture for terrior breeds. Second, What was the condition that this dog was kept in? Would he go days at a time without having someone there to play with that let him burn up this energy that they can build when their caged constantly or on a runner? Whenever I hear a news reporter say that it was a pit bull that tells me that news reporter didn't do no research, They're going with the easy answer because a pitbull is an ambiguous term that can be labeled to many different breeds of dogs. That's wrong that's basically dog discrimination. I hope these brothers heal up fine, this is tragic.. But not as tragic as refusing to not do the work to find out what breed of dog it was. More to this story. Know wtf you have at home. Especially, an aggressive dog. I've owned plenty of pitbulls, and there's always a forewarning before the attack. Obviously, no control of the animal. Obviously, aggressive from the beginning. Cannot own a tiger and not feed it. Simple as that. The owners fault. Always is.

Playing with the dog more like teasing the dog, if they didn't raise it from a puppy even still you have to be real cautious with that breed. I have one but he has to live on a chain cuz he'll bite other dogs. But he gets plenty of attention plenty of food and his loved on to give him the calm nature he has versus what it could have been. And I only rescued him because of the people that we use him as a practice dog. So I spared him that kind of existence
