Hello, I am Travis Holzem, owner of Food Foret Design Solutions (formerly Food Forest Abundance Minnesota, and the founding partner of Food Forest Abundance.

Phase I Food Forest Installation - Roberts, WI - Final Day

Planted an aesthetically pleasing windbreak along 3 sides of the property line, Added an 85-foot-long sunflower patch, and added 6 fruit tree guilds with support plants in Zone 3.

Phase II will be added in the spring large Food Forest in Zone 2, an Herb Spiral in Zone 1, and a Gazeebo or Pergola with Wysteria, Lemongrass, Mint, and a half-moon sunflower patch planted around it.

Phase II will be planted with 86 varieties of perennial and annual plants, herbs, berries, vines, and fruit trees.

Take a look at this design that is spread out over 2 acres. Imagine the abundance of food produced on this land every year.

Future plans include a natural pond/swimming pool, a greenhouse, a large chicken coop that runs along the outer edge of the food forest, and a chicken tractor for rotational grazing on the property.
