those side skirts are an OEM Subaru option and so are the wind deflectors. I've got a 05 USDM version of the same car I've done a LOT of work on, check it out!

Bought my twinscroll last year, beautiful car love them to death. As expected the mpg is miserable, you can expect to average 20mpg fluctuations dependent on your driving ofc. If you’re looking at this video thinking about buying one jump at the opportunity, I’d give it a half decade or so and I think they’ll start to creep up in value like the 90’s 850R’s.
Underseal them and love them!

Very nice. Just bought a MY02 gtb 2.0l auto. Not delivered yet but looking forward to it. Went auto due to availability and they are considerably cheaper than a good manual. Going to get it mapped for UK fuel, underseal and then save for the 6 speed sti manual conversion 😀

Looks like an Emotion Fukuoka Mirage rear bumper to me. Greetings from Australia

The wind/rain deflectors are a JDM part direct from Subaru. I bought a used pair from Japan for my USDM Legacy and sadly they did not survive the cleaning of the original adhesive. Too old and brittle. I really wouldn't have cared about function as much as the aesthetic. Nice car you've got there.

Those door handles are held In by clips you can pop the cover and use rubbing alcohol and it restores it to new

The sideskirts are OEM Subaru 'sports' or something like that AFAIK

Booked up to look at one on Friday any tips on what to look for when viewing the car? Was already excited and even more after watching this

For anyone interested in this platform, Australia and New Zealand had numerous specs of this car including GT, SPEC B and GT TbSTI with a number of engine configurations (2.0ltr twinscroll turbo, 2.5ltr single scroll turbo, 3.0 H6) and trans options (5EAT & 6MT).

Plenty of information available on the club.liberty.asn.au forum going as far back as the first model in 2004/2005.

I've personally owned both 5 speed auto GT Sedan and 3.0 6 speed manual Wagon. Plenty of trim levels to suit what you want.

Lovely motor mate. I have an 07 plate Twinscroll. Its quite a classy vehicle in all honesty and takes my dog in Subaru own tray, guard, etc, etc in comfort. That aside, I would really like to get some of that burble out of mine. Not chaved up, but the type of burble you have on yours. I would very much appreciate some communication from you on how I can achieve this. I did hear HKS in-take, but I am not a mechanic or really knowledgeable with exhuast systems, apart from I would like some advice on how I can make my brilliant Twinscroll sound a little more Subaru. Thanks.

Did you import yourself or use a dealer based in the UK? Currently looking at importing one of these or perhaps the Evo Wagon. Funnily enough I currently have an M140i as well 😉👍

I really like them and thot about an STi a few years back but these days would prefer a large boot for chucking in a MTB and the dog, the one thing that's putting me off is the mpg on fuel, especially these days.

Original Subaru rain deflectors not for wind

What's your mpg like on a motorway run? these seem easier to get hold of than the 3.0 which is pretty reasonable on a run at 30-35mpg
