Monsterpocalypse Demo with Privateer Press!

At Attack-X I had the pleasure of sitting down with Will "Oz" Schoonover, Development Manger at Privateer Press and Lead Designer for Monsterpocalypse for an awesome demo!

Monsterpocalypse is a fast paced miniatures game that's all about big stompy monsters rampaging through cities accompanied by smaller units and special buildings that aid on the battlefield. If you've ever been a fan of classic monster movies, you'll love this game! Use your units to hold strategic points on the map to help make your monster(s) more powerful - then have your monsters perform devastating power attacks like throwing the opposing monster into a building!

Start your experience by choosing whether you want to try and save the planet and humanity, or if you'll be invading, devouring and wreaking general havoc!

One of the things I love most about this game is that your army is not restricted to a single faction. There are two Agendas in the game: Protectors (the good guys) and Destroyers (the bad guys). Within these two agendas are 3 separate factions. You can mix and match monsters and units within the same agenda to create awesome combos! How cool would it be to have a massive ninja samurai fighting alongside a t-rex to protect the planet! Or UFO's abducting people while Cthul monstrosities rampage through the streets!

The game will include both casual and organized play formats where you can compete for special building models (like the Privateer Press HQ building) that add more punch and abilities to your army.

Monsterpocalypse is scheduled to hit stores on September 21st with additional monsters, units and buildings being released in the coming months.

Starter sets will be available for both agendas and will include everything you need to get playing. Grab a starter set, grab a friend and get smashing!
