Ford invested $1 billion in Chicago Assembly and Stamping plants and added 500 jobs to expand capacity for the production of all-new Ford Explorer, Explorer Hybrid, Police Interceptor Utility and Lincoln Aviator

Ford is increasing its use of advanced manufacturing technologies as part of a plan to deliver high-quality vehicles to customers even more efficiently

The company invested $40 million to make the Chicago Assembly and Stamping plants better places to work for employees; upgrades include new LED lighting, bathroom and cafeteria updates, new break areas and parking lot security improvements

Ford builds more vehicles in the U.S. and employs more U.S. hourly workers than any other automaker

I still driving my 98 explorer. I had to fix and patch it along the way but I love it as if it were brand new. I wish I could afford a new one but that'll never happen but thank you ford for making a great truck. If you happen to have one sitting around not being used, I could sure use it. No one will drive it with more pride than I, thanks!

Just bought a Platinum, wow nice vehicle, and Great acceleration!!! Wife loves it, comfortable seats, and gets average MPG around 23. My only wish is that the Normal and Eco displays looked like the Trail, or Sport mode with dual dials.
