I loved how Toni played the game. He’d be successful in this era too.

Kukoc is the type of player who's easy to overlook when Jordan is involved but still, his contributions were always vital and timely. Awesome player who was well rounded and clutch

First of all, Kukoc should be in hall of fame way before Dino Radja

The Croation Sensation, the Spider from Split! Thanks for making a clip about a European Legend. Still remember those great, great Jugoslavian Teams in the early 90s. Best era in european Basketball. If it wasn`t for that horrible war, this team would have dominated Euro Ball for a decade...

Kukoc is def the best bulls second round pick that they have ever made.

I think he never get enough respect how great he was, he was top 5 of the 90s european players, he was a pioneer, and a special player, without him, there would be no Dirk, no Tony Parker, etc. Hehad to prove in the NBA 10 times more after the 92 Olympics, and I feel that he still don't have the respect what he deserves. Is there anybody here from Chicago? How you see it?

The waiter was that deal.. He made clutch plays and hit clutch shot in deciding moments in the regular season and in the playoffs One f the best to ever do it

He deserves a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame when Yao Ming is in. He had a far more accomplished career in BOTH International and the NBA levels than Yao. Yao got voted into the all star games only because of his 1.3 billion fan base (He was voted in the ASG in 2010 even though he played 5 games, all in early November).
Guys like Kukoc, Petrovic and Divac brought people's attention in European talents, while Yao brought the league's attention in Chinese money, simple as that.

Recently Jordan said Kukoc was the best European player in NBA! It means something right!?

As someone who grew up in the former Yugoslavia, I know very well what kind of player Tony Kukoč was. This region has given the world of basketball players such as Dražen Petrović, Vlade Divac, Dino Rađa, Peja Stojaković, Luka Dončić, Nikola Jokić and many others, and Toni Kukoč was the most talented player I've seen in this region. He was Kevin Durant before Kevin Durant - just as Dražen Petrović was Steph Curry before Steph Curry. Toni had the mentality of a winner and a champion DNA. He won everything he could except Olympic gold, which he probably would have won had Yugoslavia not fallen apart. Yugoslavia with Kukoč, Dražen, Divac, Radja, Paspalj and others would probably lose in 1992, but they could win in Atlanta. In today's NBA, where European players have much more freedom than in the game of the '90s, Toni Kukoč would certainly be one of the best players.

Watching this channel for almost two years now, and there's finally a video about Toni. He was a great player, I guess he'd be a stretch big nowadays. He was great coming off the bench for the Bulls, the only thing I'm sorry about, is that he didn't get an all star appearance. But then again, you've had some strong competition back then.

I've got a suggestion for your next video. Shareef Abdur-Rahim was a prolific scorer in the nineties and the 00s, I don't see much of his videos on the youtube.

Kukoc had he been on a different team could've been a starter only thing was he was playing with the Chicago Bulls. He had the possibility of being a 20/6/6 guy on a team that treats him as the 1 or 2 option.

He's my most favorite player! I saw him play at first in 1988 U-20 national team of Yugoslavia. Dino Radja was there too! They won WCh I could see that he could play in every position in the team. He played at very high level in every position! He was deserved to play in NBA. He prooved that he's an execellent player.
