The old buildings on your video once were bustling with thousands of jobs in the furniture industry. Some of the buildings are gone the ones closer to the RR tracks. You would not believe how busy it was back then.

I went too Davidson College 1980, worked for Metal Bed Rail and the City of Lexington in the Water/ Sewer Dept, lived in Linwood, great times
