This was my childhood. I'm a 90s kid. I did not realize the record was so old (1969)!

This is definitely the album played to a lot of my elementary classes in the mid-70s on one of those beige portable record players that had an impressive depth of sound. It was the years 77 through 79 that I'd hear this. "Colors" still sometimes goes through my mind despite it being multiple decades since I've heard this recording.

This record was quite often played during my special ed preschool/kindergarten circle time in the early 80s. Sigh…. To be a young child again with no responsibilities to tackle on a daily basis…

Born 1968. I'm a member of Generation X, and this record was heard in every Gen X 1970-1975 kindergarten class. Somewhere, on the lower right tray of every Gen X mind's desktop, these songs are quietly playing like a hidden app.

The 1st thing people say when they get together..."hello...how are you!!! My name is your name!"....

If a child is running away from child would say to a cop "Im not lost...Im running away from home...or Im going to my friends's!"

A policeman would always ask a child you lost son?? Can you tell me your address and would make a good cop!

If someone asked "im so glad you came...what is your name"?? The party goer must not have been invited if the host/hostess has to ask what their name is....shouldn't everyone at a party already know each other?!! Shouldn't a person throwing a party know everyone by name...LOL!!!
