VAR did rob Liverpool in this game for not awarding the penalty for a foul on Cody Gakpo.

Offside is offside. It was the right call. What you should have highlighted on is zthe foul on Galpo that was a penalty that VAR never give

Rules are rules. Just as long as they are consistent. Let's see what happens to City with 115 charges.

that is the diffence between City & Liverpool at this moment in the league table

clear offside. you must be behind the BALL as it is passed, and Salah was clearly in front of the ball. Offside.

Why the later penalty wasn't given though, I can't fathom. VAR has to overrule the on pitch clearly wrong decision. WHY didn't they?

based on new rules, its not an offside. luiz and salah absolutely in straight line. why all of you focusing in MU players?

It is not an offside diaz held on to the ball till the MU defender pass before he gave the pass is not an offside

It looks an offside, but in the 2nd half Gakpo was kicked when he received the ball, and that was a clear penalty, but it was not even called a fault.

Mo was not involved in the goal build up? He was literally in the box participating in the goal build up, so much so that the ball hit his foot on its way out to TAA from Diaz. I'm a Liverpool fan and Mo looks like he was just off side when the ball was hit.

We're used to being robbed by VAR and referees and realise that we are playing against them !! YNWA 😊

When we knew he was going to be the ref we knew we would be robbed at one or two points and we were talking about it on line and there you go it happened.

Why is the talking point focused on whether Salah's position is offside or whether he interfered?? Shouldn't they focus more on weather Diaz had already gone past the last defender in the first place? It looks clear that Diaz is already past. But weather the ball was also past the last defender is very very tight. If he's past then there is no question of offside. That should be what VAR should focus on, not Salah.

This is what i see mo salah 1 line with the ball and var says mo off side taa goal.😊

Taylor waved play on when Gakpo went down in the box and therefore as there was a shot on target at the end of the play the penalty couldn't have been given. Had the advantage disappeared I think it would have been given. So technically no robbery in the game from a liverpool point of view.

what do you mean harsh? it's offside

Salah was offside and he did touch the ball so its a clear off side.

It looks like Salah is slightly ahead of Diaz when the pass is made and he made contact with the ball ever so slightly so that is offside, right?
