the last staff was love at first sight...I don't think I'll ever have the heart to use the other ones. Hell, it goes well with the 'Water Elemental-less' talent(I can pretend I still have him, but he's contained in my staff!).

Those last versions of the look like you summoned a water elemental and put it's bindings on the staff. Now it's trying to come back but could only form around your weapon so it's constantly trying to break free.

Frost mages with a flaming artifact weapon.. What happened to making these weapons fit the lore of the spec? It seems like making the weapon feel like it fits the spec has been thrown out for aesthetic reasons.
