Destiny 2: DPS Team Structure

When you think of DPS in Destiny, what comes to mind? Probably a team of Guardians hunkered down in a Well of Radiance, hosing down a massive enemy with a flavor of the season power weapon. But what goes on beyond just placing a Well and emptying your mags? In part 2 of this video series, we’re going to be exploring everything that has to do with structuring your fireteam to do optimal damage in any scenario in Destiny, including buffs, debuffs, amplifiers, and exotics. If you’ve ever wondered when to use Lumina or why endgame players love Tractor so much, this video has all the answers you need.

Its actually awesome seeing a video like this that is actually thought out and covers 90% of known strategies for the players who aren't aware of things in Destiny. So many people of the community think some supers are good for damage without taking into account the roaming feature of it, divinity is not always the best option, linears vs rockets is always a debate... Great video and I am hyped to see what else you teach the less knowledgeable about Destiny raids in general.

Debuffs work on a single timer so Felwinter's helm (30%) debuff can be made continuous if a 15% source is applied while the 30% is active

this is extremely effective against Kalli from LW for farming reasons as Child of the Old Gods, Weaken grenades, snare bomb, etc. can all extend the single finisher from Felwinter's w/o sacrificing heavy damage from Tractor Cannon (also applicable w/ Riven) when Heavy is a necessary part of the damage rotation.

This still works w/ tractor (but you can swap off tractor w/o losing the debuff)

One important thing that wasn't mentionned and no doubt a large reason why Boots of the Assembler aren't used: they've been bugged for over a year to have all seekers target the closest player.

Hey Aegis! Just wanna make a clarification for you. If the person who drops the Well is wearing Boots of the Assembler, the noble seekers created by it WILL target teammates. It's only when you're outside of someone else's Well that the seekers won't work.
