My girlfriend and I went on vacation to New York city she was terrified about drinking the water but we both found New York city had probably the best tasting water ever. That being said a water purification system is probably the smartest thing you could ever buy.

Few people seem aware of the General Ecology purifiers that are effective, and have been for many years. They remove most anything except for salts, thus they leave fluoride in the water. There is a backpack model, a 1 gal per minute model and some larger sizes. The backpack is hand pumped only. The 1 gal/min can be easily spliced into an undersink supply line. You can also remove it and use it with a hand pump. I filter my water through the popular 1 gal/min model and then set a gallon jug of it inside a tensor ring to restructure the water, then filter it again through a Clearly Filtered drip through filter to remove the fluoride. General Ecology is not cheap, but the stainless steel canister lasts for decades. Of course you have to replace the element from time to time.

Two grand is a bit steep for the majority. Try a ITEHIL system. Much cheaper and does reverse osmosis also.

This is something i would only recommend if a large prepping group pitched in to get this system bit unaffordable for 1 person to take on.

Great video, but I think the cost of that is too much for me to justify buying one. I think for the average person, manual personal filters/straws are more reasonable?

I saw a review of the top (ten?) gravity feed water filters, including the Berkey, and the best of the lot was the Zero Water Water Filter. It os portable and light weight and doesn’t require any outside power source (except gravity).

I use a DIY Berkey filter system that doesn’t need any power. All you need is two 5 gallon bucks and some burkey filters. Just YouTube DIY Berkey filter.

yeah waste of 2 grand.. too heavy n bulky to move around and cant trust during shtf.. ecoflow delta 2 is 1250 watts not 2700 .. and better use would be to boil it for 3 minutes.. I have a electric kettle that boils 2 litres in 4 minutes.. i can boil dozens or more gallons quickly off my delta 2 and its a lot more portable and easy and cheap.. but hey .. sell your gear .. everyone needs to make money off the public right
