it also seems as if hes doing them in a flare type fashion, meaning hes getting the extra "ghost" click sounds at the beginning and ends of his pull movements, so you gotta try to get your crabs to fit in btw your hand movements. basically replace a 1 click or 2 click fader motion with crabs and with a 3 finger crab u will get 5 sounds instead of 3 if implemented in flare fashion, also he adds little tears n shit to his basic scratches that the eye can barely see but i can sure hear em

I've never scratched before, but i have played musical insturments, it's just like any thing else, get the technique down slow, play backing tracks at different tempos to slowly build up speed, but make sure your hitting every beat on time every time, don't just skip a tempo cause you got it right once.

For those people wondering what's better: A reverse fader or a normal fader, it's whatever YOU feel used to and whatever YOU can do. For me, it's easier to do a crab at a reverse rate but it's easier for me to do others like the Chirp or the Transformer in a normal fader mode. It's whatever sounds cleaner and better :)
