What I think is the most scary part of this is how the crowd doesn't show any hesitation they continue to cheer and applaud like this is a good thing.

(edit):Even if he didn't do it on purpose, the crowd should have at least noticed how similar the two salutes were and maybe showed some sign of confusion or shock. But they don't. They just continue to cheer him on.
