AFAIK, Renderman is still not working with Blender 2.8+. There was someone at Pixar that was working on the updated addon, but he was running into issues at the time and was also waiting for their next version. The addons at those links are 3+ years old.

I'd love to be wrong on this - so if someone knows better, let me know - but AFAIK, Renderman isn't an option for the latest versions of Blender.

2:20 The Scatter Objects addon is now almost obsolete thanks to Geometry Nodes in Blender 2.93.
