We Made the Craziest Magic Cards Using Only a Sharpie

What happens if important parts of Magic: The Gathering card text is erased with a sharpie? Carl, Thoralf and Jamin came up with 5 different decklists of pure comedic gold. In usual Cardmarket fashion they play against each other to find out who produced the best altered cards.

I would die for a long form video of someone designing the sharpie cards for people (built as a cube), then y'all draft that cube, and play single elimination tournament with the decks.

Maybe y'all make the cards for guests, have fans write in cards, or have participants sharpie from a pool of cards and then the pool gets brought back together for everyone else to see who sharpie'd what.

Maybe .... there's a pool draft beforehand. Where the pool is laid out and people pick cards from the list to sharpie, and then, well, you get the point.

Anyways. All I'm saying is, I want more. This was excellent. 10/10 content

You know what's weird? This concept is basically stickers. The fun that you're having this game by messing around with the cards is what WotC was aiming for with stickers and just completely bungled the execution.

The first game was a draw based on what we know. Whenever a refers to itself in the text box, it means itself (as seen with Scute Swarm), so when the Myr Battlesphere enters, it creates four copies of itself, which all have the same etb, creating an infinite loop.

5:55 cute swarm says when a land enter the battlefield you get a copy of cute swarm INSTEAD. So, you don't get the land, the effect of the land entering the battlefield is replaced
