Patrick Kluivert started his career at AFC Ajax. Kluivert scored 18 goals in 25 appearances for Ajax In his first season. He won the Dutch Supercup the League title and the EUFA Champions League in his first season for Ajax, he was only eighteen years old. He also scored the winning goal in the Champions League final against AC Milan.

After Ajax Patrick Kluivert Joined AC Milan, FC Barcelona, Newcastle United, Valencia CF, PSV and LOSC Lille.

He had an spectacular career at AFC Ajax and FC Barcelona. Patrick Kluivert scored a lot of goals for FC Barcelona. In total 90 goals in 182 appearances. He won the league title and the Copa del Rey with Barcelona.

Patrick Kluivert played 79 international matches for Holland and scored 40 international goals for the national team. He was the Netherlands all time top scorer until Robin van Persie broke his record in 2013.

Patrick Kluivert was also an hated men by the media, because he had killed a man in a car accident. And rumors where going that he raped a girl with his three friends. In the Euro 2000 Kluivert became topscorer of the tournament. And it putted a shadow over his scandals.

My Papa passed away back in november. When I was young he bought me Patrick Kluivert's FC Barcelona jersey as a gift from his trip to Spain. I played football, but wasnt much of an avid watcher and had never heard of Kluivert before. I didnt even know how to pronounce his name, and even though I wore that jersey all the time because it was a gift, I never took any time to learn about him. I just found this jersey today in my boxes of old stuff, and feel like I need to learn about him now. I regret never taking the chance to learn about him from my Papa.
