“With my history of wrecks, I think it’s time to check, the crab trap of life once more”… one of Jimmy’s best lyrics ever! Great tune!

Every now and then a song comes along where, the first time I hear it, I have to just pick the needle up and put it back at the beginning (am I dating myself? Ok, press "skip" back to the beginning) and listen to it again. And again. And ... again. This is one of those songs.

Love to see that guitar, btw.

I love this song, it feels very "Zen" to me". I have often quoted the verse that begins with "Need is a relative thing these days, it borders on desire" because I find it very relative in these times. It can be very hard at times to differentiate between what we need and what we simply *want* as there are so many "bright shiny things" that tempt you and distract you from what is truly important.
I always felt that this song represented him taking some time to relax and get re-entered after all his adventures, trying to follow the equator to the "Far Side of the World." I guess now I'll never know if my interpretation was correct or simply relevant. But he said that the song tied the whole album together, so maybe my instincts are on track.

I just moved back to Pascagoula from the Eastern Shore (Weeks Bay of Fairhope) and tonight, I just need my guitar (and to get my taxes done). Thanks for posting Jimmy!
