Just got one! 6 years after last comment! 🤣
I had to sweep off cobwebs but she was in great show after a cleanup. Took apart the amazing "Viscous Torque Vectoring Differential" for inspection and fresh lube, looked new.
Its funny that it's an 1/8 scale but my 1/10 Senton BLX is longer and has a longer wheelbase, but only just. Anyway, mine was a slider-roller, no running gear or shox. And it had no slipper clutch. Modifying a Traxxas Rustler VXL Slipper clutch to work was NOT difficult at all.
It's running now on Traxxas stock Rustler shox w/ the blue caps and Titan 12t 550 & XL5 w/ 2s Goldbat Champion 5.2Ah 100c battz; it speeds along just like a 2wd brushed Rustler, go figure?!
I will be getting a Rocket-RC 4 Pole 3650 - 3250kv to go with the Rocket-RC Ver.2 80a ESC i purchaced to replace the stripped Fuze 70a ESC and Dynamite Fuze 3300kv 540 4 Pole motor; I will be using Ovonic 3s- 4500mAh - 50c battz when i switch her to brushless . I also got a set of ZD racing all alloy shocks to match. The ones with the fake rubber hose and expansion oil tank (hey, they were on sale on AliXpres for $14 ×4!). I have 17mm 1/8 red dish rims with slicks and a set of Banditos and a set of 2wd Rustler wheels and tires for it.
The light bar was missing so I replaced with round light pods, can't tell the difference except these aftermarket pods are definitely BRIGHTER!
I also removed the FAKE LED bulbs from the two light pods inside the nose and replaced with REAL CREE LED bulbs running off a buck converter, super duper bright stuff!
Found a replacement for the missing ESC mounting plate on the Bay for $7 shipped.
And last, the 4 seat interior was also missing so i put a WPL 2-seat cockpit in and it fit perfectly, painted the dash and added interior lights to roof, footwells, and dashboard, looks really good.
I just need a GI JOE and a Barbie for a driver and co-pilot!

even if they said they were, i wouldn't trust batteries in stock condition, if i were you i would ensure that it is waterproof by covering it in some liquid electrical tape or something like that :)

Hey!….i need help…my mother gave me for christmas a vaterra glamis fear…and its one of the most special posessions i have but…last year broke some technical parts…and right now its pretty hard for me to find the, by any means do you sell one of your’s? Or maybe do you know where can i get some parts?
