Definitely tool's. Saying that snap-on or strap on as I like to call them are bonkers buks. In all honesty. I brought a cheap set of AJs magical expanding spanners before. They were okay until you needed force, then they rounded everything off. Cheap Als keys end up costing loads in headaches

You don’t buy a WRC car as an enthusiastic hobbyist, same should go for bikes. Don’t buy what you can’t ride to its full potential. Leave it to the pros and buy something enjoyable. And definitely don’t winge when it’s time for a service.

Well, you're probably part of the problem, GMBN and EMBN.

Most of the time you're working as an advertising outlet for bike companies, showing off their newest $/£/€10, 000 bikes, while very rarely talking about bikes that are in the lower end price brackets.

Even Top Ger, with their super car fetishes, had constant reviews of cars that their audience could actually afford.

These comments are weird. You don’t need to buy the most expensive rig but it’s nice that you can access innovative products and actually get a lot of happiness from them. People don’t understand that these companies aren’t taking everyone to the cleaners, when you look at the full cycle economics of these products yes they make money but nothing close the rip your face off ROI and profits on an iPhone. They are actually very expensive to build and design and fab. So buy the bike you can afford and enjoy and live and let live. Everyone needs to relax and enjoy the quality of the workmanship they have purchased

Everything is overpriced in mountain biking, from pedals to dérailleurs and frames. It's the most expensive sport to take up next to motor racing and nothing compares to the cost of riding mtb in my world. Its a rich kids sport, the more they price themselves up the less people will be attracted to the sport. Of course it will always be full of over weight lawyers on sworks ebikes, and as long as these people are willing to throw money at it the less the 'industry' supports the real potential talent in the sport.
