Zooey Deschanel knew that she was meant to make music; she simply needed encouragement to move forward so that she could share it with others. When Matt Ward, Deschanel's counterpart of She & Him, heard her music, he was impressed. Deschanel and Ward hit the recording studio and soon a collaboration took shape. From learning to play the piano by book, to recording demos with Ward and now playing sold-out shows, Deschanel was able to bridge the gap between acting and music to share her hidden passion with the rest of the world.
