I pressed "play" cautiously, but optimistically. I'm very closed-minded when it comes to this song - perhaps I foolishly believe Billy Joel made it perfect. So many people tend to go too for from the original for my taste. You really have changed my mind a bit. Your interpretation is clean, honest, yet very carefully executed with your talent and flair. Nicely done, sir.

I always loved Billy Joel's chord changes for this song. But it never felt quite full enough or complete enough to be a truly satisfying jazz piece. Thanks for showing a good path to respect the original while improvising and creating a beautiful solo piano rendition! Those long sequential runs are truly technically excellent! So crisp and everything is in the right rhythmic place.

Great reference to the 'The Old Grey Whistle Test' version Billy Joel played for the BBC. Some of the soloing near the end there is just bang on and great to hear. Top work!

At 3.09 the crescendo is absolutely awesome. I also adore the final . What a genius, so young and so gifted. Those who are able to attend his concerts, you're really lucky ! He also seems to be modest and natural, no star allures,  that's a bonus.

This is one of my favorite songs of all time, and I would argue it’s one of the best. The way you performed this song feels like how Billy describes his own feelings through his lyrics. Like a casual stroll through the Big Apple. Beautiful
