I think personally what works best is-
Be patient with yourself. Let yourself stop, stabilize, slowly remember what you are trying to say. Give yourself time to say what you want to say.
I have a harder time in public places, and feel rushed to keep up the pace of the conversation. Or if I’m interrupted I forget what I was trying to say.
But that’s ok. Give yourself time and be kind to yourself. You’re trying as best you can and that’s 100% commendable.
And remember tomorrow is a new day with newer opportunities.
Stay MS Strong.

Excellent videos. I have a lesion in the cerebellum that effects my balance slightly, and one in my brainstem that causes a very slight slur, particularly when I'm tired, stressed, or very hot. Hi Kate!!! You're awesome.

People always think I’m drunk. I live in a small town and it’s embarrassing that so many think I’m just wasted.

I've had MS for seven years and I've had problems with speech. I have difficulty finding the right words, putting sentences together so they make sense and just stop talking mid sentence.

I already have a speech problem so I don't think that's the case with me but I noticed I've been doing a lot of stuttering lately too.
