Wow! Great editing in this one, girl. This just looked like an incredible experience all around. I agree with you 100% about desert sunsets. I would consider myself a sunrise person, I love waking up at dawn to start the day. My great grandma lived in the Central Valley so summers there would get up to 110 degrees, which is probably the hottest weather I’ve experienced. Kudos to you for being able to bear this crazy heat wave! Did it ever cool down at night out there? PS - LOVED the cooking part of this video. That dinner looked excellent!

not a soul in sight that is always my objective when I go backcountry camping that is why I look for the most inhospitable areas to hike and camp to be away from people and just be in solitude!
