Wow! Look at these luxury houseboats on Lake Powell

Last year one of these boats pulled in by our camp on the lake, the helicopter was always near it flying or just on top and there was a huge inflatable slide on the side of it. I'm going back to Powell in a couple days and I'm excited for that

Recently I visited Lake Powell...it is a national park. Thus the owners of the house boats can only stay 30 days.

Totally awesome - Think of all the great jobs created to build everyone of these. Many years ago I started my adulthood working at the Boston Whaler Boat Company & that job put me through night school & helped me marry young & buy my 1st home.

On a boat, it is called the head, the galley, the stateroom, not the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom...LOL!

what better way to preserve not only Lake Powell, but the planet as well.⁹ No need to go traipsing around and damaging the beaches, no drain on the power grid, plus these boats last almost forever...probably a half life of at least 50 years...
