My son & I were just checking this machine out on your showroom floor last week when we were there to pick up my Gear Up, after just having its Spring service just completed.
It’s a nice looking color scheme, and the new owner is going to be super happy!
Ian, your video’s are a Master Class on these machines, and I’m so glad you folks are there when I need ANYTHING!
My Gear Up is my lifetime favorite machine, and I’m glad I have Ural of New England (and John!!) taking care of me.
At 15:25, I have the same driving lights (installed by U of NE) on my machine, and have discovered that a guard mounted under the bumper will protect the driving light harness from snagging on any nasty stuff on the trail.
I have a friend making me a “mini skid-plate” for that out of 1/8” aluminum plate, and I’ll be able to breathe easier once that’s on her!

Wow what improvements over the years. Looks great. I was able to attend one of the 1st Ural rides that went into downtown Boston with my 2004 Ural Troyka, ( still have it) you guys also installed a new Ducati ignition system on it for me. Great to see disc brakes all around. These bikes are a lot of fun to drive. At 72yrs old, not too much time left on 2 wheels, but i will "Ride 3 " forever! Look forward to stopping buy on May 4th .

Is the alternator safe if doing deep river crossings?
On another video a winch was installed. How many amps does it draw?
Can a another battery be installed for heavy winch use (and maybe a fridge) and can it be installed with a solenoid or, if it has a smart alternator is a battery management system required?

They really need a 5 speed (not counting reverse) gearbox. I found myself searching for that extra gear on my Ural.
