One thing I really loved in Fizban’s was the list of tables for different ideas with Dragoms at each stage of their life, their connections, personalities, and hoards. Seeing more detailed information about monster stat blocks, and that sort of info that can be used to run an adventure would be nice.

I appreciate these thumb throughs, being able to read a book in any book store has always been an important part of purchasing materials. I wish it had more content, it does feel somewhat slim considering the price tag. I know that sentiment has been felt for a while, but seeing it in a physical copy really shows how light the book is.

I absolutely love this format. This kind of previewing and thumbing through a book before a potential purchase is something I've sorely missed since, well, 2020. Thanks for doing this!

While WOTC and D&D Beyond team have solved the AI-Art issue. This hardcover has the AI one at this page: 3:45 ( The frost giant ice shaper ) which means, any of the first prints of this hardcovers that has been released to public bookstores have this. As an artist and a d&d fan its unfortunate and i wont buy a hardcover of this book but i do appreciate the review as this saved me from risking of buying one. Least its assuring that future books made will not have such thing in their prints.

Also, Im glad there's a bunch of monsters, but this is also part player resource, part adventure module, and part item compedium...does it really need to be part monster manual too?

I dont think this book will give any new things that are worth it if you already have the 2e Giantcraft book.

I thought the book was terrible. The writing is lazy, there's only one subclass, a couple of backgrounds, and a handful of feats. The rest is all nonsense about how giants have dinner parties and talk about runes. The Bestiary is so bad there is a creature called "The Fire Giant of Evil Fire". My 7-year old could come up with a better name. Magic items are okay but half-assed put together and the AI retouched art is problematic.
