The ULTIMATE Guide to Improving at Legends of Runeterra

Hey what's up! I've been getting a lot of comments about "how to improve" at LoR so I wanted to make a quick in-depth video covering the best ways to learn the game! If you are a new player or have a friend that you want to get into the game then definitely send them this! This is one of the best videos I've ever made. I very concisely talk about the learning process and threw in tons of on-screen text to support my points and make it easily digestible for players of all skill levels! Couple this with the beginners guide from late last year, and you get 2 amazing videos for getting anyone into the game with a jumpstart over others!

Hello tempo! I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how valuable your content is for a new player like me. Finding streamers/content creators with an educational style and a focus on new players is always a struggle.

As a new player coming into LoR, I've been devouring content for the game, but there are a lot of videos out there where people don't really explain a deck's plan, win condition, or any decision making during the match. This has made getting into the more advanced strategies quite difficult.

Your beginner decks series are far and away the most comprehensive and useful resource for LoR newbies on YT. Keep doing stuff like this please!

I would love if you could maybe play more than one showcase game when you explain a deck, since sometimes the games are over very quickly or the match goes in a weird direction that doesn't showcase the standard gameplan. Thanks again for all the work you do!

Got to agree with the guy talking about losing streaks. Amazing video Tempo, very useful for new players. Last season was my first season and after I built your Ashe LeBlanc deck I managed to climb to platinum IV. This season I'm stuck in gold and I find that using the same deck makes you better with it but you still need time to adjust to strategies you're not used to if you change deck. Also, not being able to choose between many decks up due to lack of cards takes a toll on you if you queue into many consecutive unfavourable matchups, and it's harder to evaluate your play if you are tired and just slam cards on the board without thinking.

Thanks so much for this videos! I've been playing for 3 weeks like you said in your video hahaha, but now I'm forever stuck between plat 4-3. I guess I'll keep practicing and practicing in ladder as much as I can. Also I've been trying different decks in plat so that's probably why I can't climb.

as a noob to other noobs :
**if you went on a loss streak, take a break or change decks.**
i was on a huge win streak and already in silver 2. then on Sunday, when everyone is playing like a rush hour *facepalm*, i went on 7 loss streak. took a break on Monday and changed my deck on Tuesday. went back on wins. new deck made it hard for win streaks again but im back on Silver 2.
also, listen to Tempo. legitimately, im only half decent by watching his beginner decks.

I like the game and can play meta decks. But I really suck at deck building. And it’s just doesn’t feel right to play with someone else’s deck for me. Because even if I climb it’s because of the deck. Not because I played well

Hello awesome video but I was wondering if you had anything more advanced I'm a returning player and obviously one of my biggest hurdles right now is there's so many new cards and effects it's hard to predict.

So in the meantime I want to fix my overall gameplay and was wondering if you had any more advanced guides
