For people using the free version (like me :D), who are trying to do this and can't copy paste your mesh here's what I found has worked: select (control + click) the layers you need, in this case the lineart, colors, etc and proceed with the tutorial as usual.
If you do the mesh with all the applicable layers selected it makes a separate one for each! Without the need to copy paste <3
